My internet has been crippled since last night at this time.

Can't access my "smart" TV. My Outlook isn't Outlooking. But my Verizon wireless is letting me listen to my music. About the only site that's working, sorta, is DU. For that. I thank the dudes that keep the code the clean enough that small amounts of data get me updates...if I have patience.

1. Like a miracle, my internet just came back.

Outlook dumped a bunch of emails and I now have MSNBC on my smart TV. LOL, was my post taken seriously by the Internet Gods? Who knows, but it's great to be reconnected.

2. That happened to us for almost a week last month

Everyone in the neighborhood was cursing Xfinity (Comcast).

Last week they were “doing work” on a certain day to “upgrade” the service. I got an email, a text and a physical flyer on my gate. They basically said it’d be down the whole day.

A bunch of folks screamed at Comcast customer service that morning so they held off on their work until 4:30 pm.

Anyway, it felt like I was back n AOL.

3. Life's too short to stress, but....

24 hours? I was going nuts. Internet addiction, it's a thing.

OTOH-

(1) Got my application into a new medical HC system
(2) Bought a new dining room table and recliner...got rid of 2 things that I hated (couch and table). Delivered the same day!
(3) Removed my battery from my woodchipper, stuck in the woods.
(4) Put a nice LED "tree" on my deck

So stuff got accomplished.....
