(4,461 posts)6m of those live in the 11 county Atlanta Metro area, and more live in the several other larger cities - all pretty blue. MTGs district 14, by contrast, also includes almost 11 counties and has a population of less than 750k. A lot of GA is pretty rural and sparsely populated. Very red, but pretty empty of people.
