California, with, what? ....five times Georgia's population, only has 58 counties. Most of Georgia's counties are sparsely populated and utterly, utterly corrupt.

8. GAs population is just short of 11m. More than ...

… 6m of those live in the 11 county Atlanta Metro area, and more live in the several other larger cities - all pretty blue. MTG’s district 14, by contrast, also includes almost 11 counties and has a population of less than 750k. A lot of GA is pretty rural and sparsely populated. Very red, but pretty empty of people.
