(7,282 posts)we lived in one part of the city back 1950 somewhere around Little Five Points and Peachtree neighborhood. waym way long bfore CNN and Omni thingy. Way way back in the Before Times.

But I can never remember which county we lived in, and which I was born in, Dekalb or Fulton.
Still don't quite understand why Atlanta sits in two counties.
But right now, I really happy about the outcome.

(7,282 posts)No sightseeing, no tourist attraction time. So I didn't get a chance to have a real visit except to see relatives in and around Decatur, but even then the visits were brief. a couple of days and I had to return home and work in California.
I don't believe I was ever familiar with Emory.
