(13,776 posts)5. THough living in SE TN, I went to North GA and door knocked for 5 weekends. General and runoff.
I was impressed with how organized the GA Dems were, accurate lists, good scheduling, good campaign handouts, etc.
Quite a change from years ago here in TN where we'd practically have to do an ad hoc effort, little money, no tools to use for organizing the effort, etc.. That's when I stopped contributing to the state party and started contributing locally and in races outside the state where it looked like there was a serious campaign effort being executed.
