Woooooowwwwwww! That was an election cycle for the ages (best ever, IMO)!

I can't recall a time where we, the Democrats, have been in such ascendancy and the GOP in total disarray. Mark the time and date. The GOQ is the weakest it has probably been in any of our lifetimes and the Democrats the strongest. And, they have the electoral albatross of Trump wrapped around their neck for years to come with no way out that doesn't result in their destruction. I, for one, will greatly miss Blake Masters, Kari Lake, Doug Mastriano, Don Bolduc, "Dr. Oz", and Herschel, as they were electoral catastrophes that resulted in these smashing victories. I've never seen a cycle where the GOQ has been led by a bunch of clowns, with each worse than the next.

Best. Year. Ever. To. Be a Democrat. And the best part is that the opposition is nowhere near being able to solve their problems and become a viable opponent to us once more.

2022. The year that the Red Tsunami was supposed to bury the Democrats and effectively end the Biden Presidency, ended up being the Blue Tsunami that has fractured the GOQ and looks set to break it into a million pieces. Truly extraordinary.

Congrats to the 2022 Senate and Gubernatorial Democratic class, probably the best we will ever see. They are phenomenal rockstars, one and all

With the growing youth vote, we might just, or they might just save our democracy!!

And I thought about those (don't forget, we lost the senate in 2020-won it in 2021), but I don't believe 2008 or 2020 were whole-scale rejections of the entire Republican party's ideology the way 2022 was. This year seems to be the first since 1934 where the ideology underpinning republicanism was decisively repudiated.

Positive and aggressive messaging is infectious. It does impact the swing voters, many of whom still exist.

Well maybe not literally, but their self destruction is imminent with the TFG at the helm.
