General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI watched Fox & Friends for you this morning - 30 minutes in. No mention of the Georgia election.
The open - 15 straight minutes of Twitter Files. Twitter lawyer Jim Baker was the focus. They love them some Matt Taibbi now. Couch discussion (talking points) on how the algorithm tells people how to vote and decides elections. Oh and no other media is covering this.
Commercial break.
I missed the beginning of their news update but it did include Top Gun Maverick winning the Peoples Choice award for Action Movie.
Next - Loudon County Virginia school superintendent fired last night. Gov. Young kin approves. 5-8 minutes.
6:25 finally a mention of Georgia. Tease going into the commercial break. Chryon says WARNOCK WINS RUNOFF.

(17,986 posts)It is funny when something important is going on, they are searching for some old Joe Blow to criticize something, anything.
Al those visits to new factories, nada on Fox.

Make a complaint! Even better: put it in writing to that individual and cc: it to the local management AND the corporate management. The objective is to make it impossible for the offender to ignore or deny it, because other eyes have been brought in to see it as well. The unfortunate addressee will CERTAINLY notice THAT inconvenient little detail at the bottom of your letter. ESPECIALLY if it looks like the place/store/gym:whatever could be about to lose a paying customer.
Ive done that myself. Always ask nicely! That can actually work. Most of the time its somebody whos just following orders, or its some employee who watches Fox and thoughtlessly assumes everybody else does, too. There was one time at a restaurant where I asked and was very politely (almost apologetically) told that the owner mandated the TVs were always on Fox. So I responded with an equally polite request that they please pass along to the owner that such a rigid directive just cost them at least one customer, if not more (cuz Im sure as hell NOT bringing my family or friends to dine there anymore!!!).

(35,349 posts)about 16 tv's all on different channels. You can listen to whatever you want on your blue tooth.
I used to go to a gym ran by a Catholic hospital. They had 20 TVs all tuned to Fox unless you asked them to change the channel. The main reason I quit that gym.

My daughter and I tune in to Fox from time to time. Shes aware of it because its all my folks watch even when shes staying with them.
Fruits and vegetables. Heavy advertising for this supplement. The ads used to feature fully grown adults talking about how they were surprised at how eating/taking fruits and vegetables can be good for you. Last Christmas I was going to buy some as a joke for my daughter. $100 for a bottle of each - 1 months worth. Nope too much. Oh and a year long subscription was required. Not available in stores. Once the mark is locked in theres no website or log in to discontinue just an 800 number where they basically wait you out until you hang up. Read that in some reviews.
