The movie Amsterdam: It's a spoof of an actual attempted coup here in America in the 30's.

Great cast and an amazing story. HBO Now is showing it. It rhymes with what we are going through now. Beware of rich business men who can never have enough money. They will make a deal with the devil to get more.

President John F. Kennedy was impressed with the novel "Seven Days in May." He prevailed upon Hollywood acquaintances to produce a movie version of the story.

From traitors at the start, through the Civil War, the the America First pro Nazi movement before we entered WWII, to the America First Trump movement. There's a ruling class that doesn't think self governance is the best way. Unfortunately, the majority of the Republican party are now anti American Democracy.

I loved it and after seeing it got only 32% on Rotten Tomatoes, I thought it needed some boosting.
