My son, a serious prosecutor with the Brooklyn D.A. office, has a wonderful dream candidate if Joe

doesn't run: MICHELLE OBAMA! He knows she wouldn't. He still admires her greatly and thinks she would be a wonderful leader of our country.

It made me want to dream a dream...I look at Obama on the campaign trail for a deserving candidate in Georgia and I think back to those years we had that great family in the White House.

FWIW, I thought I'd share that today, especially, since I am so inspired by Warnock's victory. It is a sweet day!

I understand why she doesn’t want it though. She and her family have been the target of much racist hate.

My point here is that, for all his "Law and Order" style prosecutor's job, he has what seems to be an impossible dream. I didn't have the time in the Thanksgiving rush of meet and greet others, to sit down and have that serious discussion. But I will. There must be something more here and I want to go into his thinking with more depth.

I know, I know...I would have groaned like you and others here. But here's the thing: I became active in the anti-war movement when he was 3 years old. He knew me as someone who went to marches, carried a sign, was committed to ending the Vietnam War and, in particular, the draft. I was terrified that he would be taken from us by an unjustifiable war.

Some of this background rubbed off on him.
