Pawnee Star Map

"... at the Field Museum of Natural History at Chicago, ...The map was found in a sacred bundle among other things common in these collections. This chart is oval in shape, made from a piece of tanned elk skin about 15 by 22 inches in size. One end is colored with red and the other brownish yellow. According to Dr. Ralph Linton, of the above-named Museum, this map is at least three hundred years old"
