FROM 1941

This political cartoon was created by the U.S. Department of War following the events at Pearl Harbor. The illustration shows Lady Liberty (with the words "Pearl Harbor" written on her) stabbed in the back by a Japanese soldier. The Japanese soldier's hand is being lifted by a larger arm covered in a sleeve that resembles the American flag. On the sleeve "130,000,000 United Americans" is written. The poster was used to motivate action by Americans as the U.S. entered the war effort.

Mickey Mouse wanting his reputation back, Walker blocked by Democratic money, and the Dem players huddling with the media aginst the Repubs. But others were great. I especially appreciate carefully drawn silverfish on the U.S. Antitrust Law book.

These are really ones who are quite moderate, they're swinging away from tRump because they know he's
a loser. Thanks for your comment, knew someone would notice, but they're not harmful to us. IMO

The insights can be surprising. I didn't realize Disney was such a hot subject still with RWers but it is, as I was surprised to hear some RWers talking about it recently.

( Oh, and I don’t mind propaganda posters from 80+ years ago, at the outset of a World War. Our modern era is no less scathing when it comes to political and other adversaries.)
