It took 3 years to indict him for espionage, and two more years to convict him, and he wasn’t a former president.

Tomorrow is the earliest DOJ can submit the stolen docs as evidence following the 11th circuit ruling last week, assuming Trump doesn’t appeal to SCOTUS. He almost certainly will, which means it will be another month or so before the docs can be presented to a grand jury as evidence justifying an indictment.

I have never seen such an open and shut case without live video of the crime. The contents of the documents, while meaningful, are irrelevant to proving the crime. Simply having the documents is the crime.
