DeSantis vs Trump 2024 turning into a blowout already. (R.D.+23%)

How soon they forget about you, Donny.

https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/desantis-trump-2024-poll-suffolk/

BOSTON - A new poll finds Republican voters may want to go in a different direction for the 2024 presidential primary.

The survey from Suffolk University in Boston shows Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis leading former President Donald Trump 56% to 33% in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup. Trump has declared his candidacy, while DeSantis has not.

"There's a new Republican sheriff in town," Suffolk polling director David Paleologos said in a statement. "DeSantis outpolls Trump not only among the general electorate, but also among these Republican-leaning voters who have been the former president's base. Republicans and conservative independents increasingly want Trumpism without Trump."

DeSantis, Trump with 5" less height, 50 less lbs, 50 more IQ points and a functioning filter.

Much more dangerous.

For those hoping for a "burn it all down" angry and bitter Trump, don't count on it because Trump will need RD to give him a pardon and stop the DoJ investigations IF he were to win.

DeSantis is a clear and present danger. Ask us Florida Democrats.

4. polls won't matter if the gop doesn't hold primaries......

Or holds them but allows the party leaders to pick the winners.

tfg did a bunch of that in 2020. It wasn't a primary so much as a coronation.

That could happen again. But they will all come home for the election.

It doesn't matter who the candidate is. It will be close.

I'm not supporting him, just pointing out that primaries aren't always determined by voters.

They aren't actual federal elections I believe. the parties can use voter ballots or just use party officiate ballots. Voting and counting the votes isn't required unless state law exists, and that wouldn't be universal.

5. I could be wrong, but I don't think he's a very good national candidate.

He would win Florida and Texas, but I’m not so sure of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan. He’s not a very likable guy.

I guess he can work at acquiring a personality?? He's young, young wife and child... he can play the family guy angle.

The only video I can recall of him is him responding to reporters questions and he's an A1 dick...

He’s obviously a bully, trying to achieve his agenda by bullying students who were only doing what they were told. That tells me a lot about the guy

He is a potato. Zero charisma. He refuses to allow the press to ask questions. He usually only holds "pressers" in a closed area.

Trump is an asshole, but other crass assholes loooove him and his fucked up energy. DeSantis doesn't have that.

If walker could get within a couple of points, you know the system isn't entirely rational.

There hasn't been a blowout national election in a LOOOONG time (nixon?).

And wants this country to stop talking about that 'blasted slavery, lynchings," and about what white people did to Native Americans, et al. And a whole host of other things, and he's crooked as SIN himself.

He can run like a dictator in floriduh, try to turn floriduh back into what it was in 1900, and pass his racist "anti woke" "anti-LGBTQ2" legislation" down there, but that authoritarian/racist crap won't fly federally.

Even in Kentucky, they voted to tell their Supreme Court that they were WRONG to ban abortion access, and we saw what happened in Kansas. And, in increasingly RED states, they are voting to expand medicaid, and to raise the minimum wage....ALL things DeathSantis is AGAINST. The whole damn continental coast is DEEEEEEEP blue, and there is no more Conservative Orange County here in California.

With the exception of 38 miles in Washington, the entire continental West Coast is blue.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/11/12/with-exception-miles-washington-entire-continental-west-coast-is-now-blue/

And finally, that non-woke shit isn't going to fly either with Gen Z, younger women and with a whole host of other people.

Now, if fascist fatso #2 and his GOP Nationalist Party try another coup, well then that's another story because we see via what Rachel showed us last night on her show, they're still trying to pull that coup shit even though it was put down the first time.

DeSantis is gaining support from the more sane wing of the Republican Party while TFG's base is made up of people like MTG, Palin, Stone, Bannon, Flynn, Sidney Powell, Kari Lake, Ted Nugent, the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, and the like .
