Two busloads of migrants were dropped off in front of VP residence tonightI shouldnt be surprised, but I am. Was really expecting today to be a no-political-news kind of day.
After the complete failure of the previous immigrant-abandoning stunt, well, I just dont get how this is supposed to work out for Republicans. I would expect true Christians - if any still exist in their ranks - to universally condemn this action.
But were in uncharted territory, and the divide just grows deeper by the day.
I feel like we passed the point of no return long ago and the unthinkable (some type of civil war) has become inevitable.
Its probably just a matter of time.

(16,529 posts)Ugh. I'll have to go see if I can find out what it was. I am behind on the news, it seems.
I shouldn't be surprised, either, but I probably will be.

(5,271 posts)"Several busloads of migrants were dropped off in front of Vice President Kamala Harris residence in Washington, DC, on Christmas Eve in 18 degree weather late Saturday.
An initial two busloads were taken to local shelters, according to an administration official. More buses arrived outside the vice presidents residence later Saturday evening. A CNN team saw migrants being dropped off, with some migrants wearing only T-shirts in the freezing weather. They were given blankets and put on another bus that went to a local church.
Tatiana Laborde, managing director of SAMU First Response, said her group was prepared for Saturday nights arrivals. Busloads of migrants have been arriving in Washington weekly since April.
The DC community has been welcoming buses from Texas anytime theyve come since April, she said. Christmas Eve and freezing cold weather is no different. We are always here welcoming folks with open arms.

(17,329 posts)drop people off in a residential neighborhood without proper clothing, no shelter or food in sight, probably
not even a map where they could find food and shelter with no money in their pockets, can the bus drivers
be arrested for "cruelty to humans"??? We do have "cruelty to animals" laws, surely there's something
the bus drivers could be charged with so they quit showing up unexpected and dropping bus loads
of people off at whoever's home they're told to deliver to.

If our worthless MSM would finally do their jobs and call everyone responsible for this, the horrific deranged lunatics that they are, this will only continue.

(1,697 posts)That nobody would be meeting the people. Once they arrived, if nobody was there, did the immigrants ask to be let back onto the bus? (Im guessing not.) In any case, the idea of punishing the most low-level person doesnt make much sense to me - how does that stop someone else from being an unwitting accomplice? How publicized do you think it would be, to the level that every potential driver would know about it?
No, the planners and mid-level people helping implement the plan are the ones to go after.

(17,329 posts)Charge a couple drivers with something or even hint you are gonna start charging them with
something and they'll have trouble finding bus drivers willing to do their evil deeds.

(1,972 posts)...should be brought before a grand jury and made to testify under penalty of purgery, to find out what he or she knows...then work the way up the chain, and call in everybody involved.
Make it difficult for them to find bus drivers for their kidnapping plots.
And confiscate the bus.
