The whole point of the anti-woke concept is to make sure that white children don't start feeling bad about themselves. It is certainly not to benefit minorities, because minorities are fully aware by now, that everything they're being taught in school is a white wash. So the anti-woke movement is meant to benefit conservative white children, because the Republicans must feel that giving them an honest lesson on American history would harm their self-esteem, and potentially lower their grades. So they're getting promoted from one grade to the next without having to worry about learning skillsets that were removed from the curriculum.

Especially the one great great grandfather, 8 generations ago. He controlled most of the eastern shore of Virginia as a colony, he went to New York and brought down 40 enslaved Africans, and he was fond of slaughtering Native Americans. His history has been written about. Now am I supposed to feel bad about myself because of it? I just think it’s interesting and I’m glad my family wised up.

7. Let me explain where DeSantis lives.

I briefly went to the local elementary school, the one the DeSantis house is zoned to, in 1980. Recess consisted of something roughly like dodgeball, 20 white kids against 2 black kids, with the staff looking on. I was quite glad that moved to Houston after a few months. I actually dropped out of 5th grade 3 weeks before that move.

That's what this is all about, nothing more highbrow.
