the Orange one wanted to put us back to square one where Biden would need to fight the Afghan war all over again after it was turned over to the Taliban.

If the US was bogged down again in Afghanistan, we would not be free to aid Ukraine when Putin invaded.

But Biden withdrew instead of refighting the Afghan war.

He was told well before the election that he was behind in the polls.

I get your point, though. Whether he won or not, he expected to stay in office one way or another and made plans to claim his win. So he didn't need to stir up the Afghan war again. If he stayed in office, he could just refuse to aid Ukraine and promote Russia's claim to be fighting fascism there.

Trump made the agreement that we would leave Afghanistan. Did he expect to aid Russia against Ukraine?

Don't know.

had on our NATO allies who were in Afghanistan with ud? They were pretty upset when Biden pulled out.

Could Trump's motive have been to disrupt NATO unity on behalf of Putin?

Re-election, that was what was in it for him.

He thought Americans were so tired of the place they would cheer him for getting out. But he bungled it and bumbled it in multiple ways.

To throw us into chaos. He meant to leave a steaming mountain of shit on Biden's desk when he arrived, in every way possible and he had plenty of help.

It was also another slap at the Kurds who are not well liked by the despots -45 wants to have as allies.

Even though Trump was behind in the polls, he expected to stay in office and made plans to claim a win, as we saw after election day, especially on Jan 6.

But he might have wanted to break up NATO unity. Look at how upset our allies were about our withdrawal.
