Both of them witnessed the planning of the crimes, the crimes being committed. Their testimonies matched. Both of them are well respected and come across as truthful.
Most importantly, neither of them have a dog in the hunt. They were not involved in the Coup of Fools. They are not testifying to get a deal. They are simply telling the truth and I believe a jury will believe them.
I believe they already testified before the grand jury. Cipollone was recently freed up from executive privilege so he most likely answered questions in front of the grand jury that he did not to the J6 committee.
These two witnesses are a big problem for the coup plotters. Justice is coming.

Trump's free lawyer Passantino to her did a lot of damage to her credibilty. It will take a lot of extra work to restore her credibility.

(15,656 posts)Hutchinson for perjury or lying to congress (although I doubt she will be charged), and Cippilone could at least be on the hook for sanctions against his law license.
Recent revelations show the Herschman coaxed Hutchinson into accepting Trumps attorney and his biased advice, so he could be on the hook too.
Of course, their risk pales compared to that of Meadows, Eastman, Clark and Giuliani.
