Kirschner said, when he was a prosecutor and there were multiple investigations into the same people. He and other prosecutors would coordinate their investigations.
There is no proof Garland, Smith, DA Willis, are coordinating their investigations, but I believe the chances are very good they are and so does Kirschner. They are all working together, sharing information, evidence, talking strategy, etc.
Meadows is involved in all the investigations. How could all the prosecutors not coordinate their efforts while investigating Meadows? It would be foolish not too.

(17,220 posts)no matter how much he cooperates with investigators. My gut feeling is with all the people the Jan 6th
Committee interviewed, they have all the coup plotters lined up to go to jail and they don't have to
ask anyone to turn State's Evidence and receive a free get out of jail card.

(1,827 posts)for so long! When he pops out the pipe it better be in a prison cell. If this is not the case it will embolden anyone who thinks they can avoid paying the price for supporting insurrection and the death of a country.

(4,913 posts)He will get a reduced sentence if he gives up Trump. We have seen this happen in investigations before. It's how you get the people at the top.

(7,431 posts)Meadows was narrowly focused on pleasing and complementing his boss. He did much of Trump's dirty work. He didn't care whether what he was doing was illegal or not. He was serving the president. He would be assigned a series of tasks, he'd perform those tasks, and he'd report back to Trump. Meadows was at the height of his esteem and power during the coup. He was drunk on his own sense of importance, and deluded himself into thinking that Trump would always protect him.

So than is Jim Jordan, as they were big buddies trying to take down Obama.
These two plus Ron DeSantis formed the Freedom Caucus back in Obama's Presidency.

(8,049 posts)That might be the problem with only going one way with state OR federal charges. I think it needs to be both. But even that's not insurance forever.
