Congratulations Dr. Brian May, and now Sir Brian May!

My favorite rock guitarist, astrophysicist and animal rights champion has been knighted by the new King Charles. Dr. May is honored and says he hopes it might give him a bit more clout as he continues in his quest to fight against animal cruelty.

I follow him on Instagram and he takes little video clips of all of the concerts that he performs and posts them for his fans, as well as all of the events he attends for his work with space and animal rights projects. He asks for input and interacts live from time to time. Even when dead tired flying home from Australia, or an event in Asia, he will take the time to show a clip of a beautiful sunset from the window of his plane. Following him on Instagram is like being on a world tour for most of the year and it is so appreciated by his fans who can’t afford to go anywhere or are grounded from illness, etc.
He is just the best guy.

The band was so impressed with Angelina Jordan’s performance of Bohemian Rhapsody at age 13 they let her copyright her version. Not common for the cutthroat music industry.

A little too flowery with all the runs for my taste, but gorgeous voice..

Yes, both Brian and Roger work with younger musicians to give them exposure. I guess when you’ve been on top of the mountain, you don’t mind helping other people to reach those heights.

Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Etta James, Amy Winehouse early on, so there is always a jazzy nod when she sings.

Who can just sing like this in one take sitting on your couch? 12yo. AJ.
