(6,831 posts)Hunter's laptop, a very expensive goose chase. Such absurd people, they have so much money to burn yet they remain fixated in extremis on taxation.
Forewarned with that fact it should come as no surprise that those are the people who control >90% of the nation's wealth.

...have plenty of money if these rich bastards could be made to pay their fair share...
...but as long as we have a political and tax system designed by millionaires and billionaires to be gamed by millionaires and billionaires nothing will change...
...from weak social programs to deficits to the controlling of our elections and democracy, when are we going to learn huge amounts of wealth in a very few hands is toxic, detrimental to society and will eventually destroy a democracy...?

(10,175 posts)Just like the history of feudalism, the history of capitalism is about taking away more and more from the average person. Taking away the right to even pickup a dead stick off the ground in feudalism to taking away the right to alter the phone you bought in capitalism. It caused feudalism to collapse and riots to break out.

They're "just that good", huh? Is that why you kept claiming gigantic operating losses every year, because those investments were, "just that good"? 🤔
Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie! He is definitely the template George Santos (if indeed that's his actual name) used to create his life story.

(82,849 posts)But Wallace was very clear in asking specifically about federal income tax, so that dodge won't quite wash. Not to say that the former guy won't try it; lying comes as easily as breathing for that fucker.

(295 posts)over that period from 2015 to 2020 he paid zero income tax. We paid him. When you average all they years together including the refund he received in 2020 we paid him over 3 million dollars.
Must be nice to be able to appoint your buddies to run the IRS.
My guess is the years before 2015 aren't much different.
