I wasn't really paying attention to the pope thing, I did wonder if his death would be announced immediately or if they would wait for a convenient time as is sometimes done.

(1,850 posts)Understand the concept of reflection, but this end of year obsession with death always strikes me as a bit morbid.
But then I think most of the end of the year lists I run across are dull.

(3,641 posts)are the ones I instantly recognize, but whose name I never knew. I must have seen John Aylward in a million different movies and tv shows, but I didn't know his name or even that he died. My apologies, Mr. Aylward, I will miss your work.

(5,500 posts)I didnt realize he died (of that was even his name). I just remember him from his cute lip synching videos. Thats a bummer.
