(7,423 posts)The problem with these crimes is that only a POTUS can commit them. He gaslit 70 million Trump voters into thinking they were cheated. He is responsible for the resulting carnage, but probably not criminally. Any other American can run their mouth like that, and they are free to do so.
I put the Jan 6 debacle squarely on Trump voters for handing him the power of the presidency and amplifying his misguidedness. We can't indict him for being the charlatan that he is.

Not an unreasonable question. The doj has until summer before the primary campaigns start to roll. Then they will be stuck if they haven't moved.
That is the better question. The question you asked is just speculation with no basis to act.
