I caught a really bad cold that had been going around the office since our crew that had been in Naples got back after Christmas.
A week later it was so bad I thought I had Pneumonia and went to Urgent Care, where they didn't know what the heck it was other than "a virus", they gave me Tamaflu and sent me home for a week.

A week and a half later, Laz caught it, not as bad and seemed to get over it soon enough. Just as he got over it, they started talking about a killer virus and quarantine of cruise ships due to this novel coronavirus.
In late February, he had his first brain fog seizure, the sign he had developed Long Covid...

recognized as such until months later and more cases, and their various symptoms appeared and could be compared.

(She was very lucky with her case)
