As I had read not long ago, the Representatives from the Southern States were not seated

following the Civil War. The article stated that at the beginning of a new Congress the names of all elected Reps are read into the Congressional Record to make their elections official. At the start of the first Congress following the CW the names of those who supported the South were not read into the record and were sub sequentially NOT seated. I do not remember the source of this article.
If this is the case, maybe the acting House leader could just follow suit and not acknowledge those who voted against Biden and still support Trump.
I know, in my wildest dreams.

because during the Reconstruction period, Mississippi had two black Senators. It was illegal for white people who had supported the South to vote, so black men were serving in a lot of state and federal offices. It took balls for those white men to try to get seated after they had engaged in rebellion. But we have people in office today who are enemies of our government and Constitution. It's interesting to compare the two eras. There are many parallels.
