Personal reflections

I posted this on FB.

Reflections:

It is now truly a different country. This election was a referendum for change in a changing country. The minorities are now majority. We'll never go back to a lily white Ozzie and Harriet nation. This is good.

The world is rejoicing. Check out headlines from other nations. They approve of our choice.

We have a lot of work to do. Get rid of Citizens United is a top priority. Pressure Obama on NDAA, climate change, environmental issues.

A better version of 37 needs to be on the next California ballot.

Alternative, non-environmentally destructive sources of energy need to be #1 priority. We need to become, rapidly, a post-fossil fuel world.

Guantanamo prison needs to close.

Corporations are not people.

Single payer health care for all.

I can't wait to get my Obama phone and my Welfare BMW 700 series. (Cadillacs are just to last century)

Outsourcing of jobs and factories need to become financially painful. Bring the jobs back to America.

I'm looking forward to the right-wing getting rounded up and put in FEMA camps. I heard that will start tomorrow.

I don't agree with the war mentality at all, but Veterans need to be supported with jobs and better health care.

Obama has to be pressured to understand that there is no such thing as "clean coal".

Michelle Obama for President in 2016,

Electronic voting machines with no paper trail need to be totally eliminated. There should be a national standard to insure every vote is counted.

Two of the above are jokes, one is wishful thinking. I hope if you read this far you know the difference.

Michelle Obama for President in 2016, I think she needs a break after this 8 years, but if HILARY would do Prez, I think Michelle would be a good VP. THE DREAM TICKET!
