Look at what they got away with. How many in Congress were actively involved in the J-6 planning and execution of the insurrection/coup de'tat.

No one was called on the carpet to answer for this treasonous conduct. The Fourteenth Amendment that denies federal office to anyone committing an insurrection or involvement in a conspiracy there of against the US Government be barred into perpetuity from holding office - has been enacted against no one in Congress. Even the traitorous Trump has the audacity to run for president for his second term. It seems nothing can be done to stop these treasonous Fascists.

Remember that in the last two years gone by we controlled the US House investigative committees.
The congressional insurrectionists often scoffed at our subpoenas or feigned no recall pertaining to factual testimony about J-6.

Now that they are back in majority control of the US House - their primary ambition will be to cloud up,.. fog up,.. distort .. bend,.. fabricate,.. and obfuscate the realities of J-6 and fully exonerate themselves and their barbaric white nationalist thugs who ransacked the Capitol to criminally prevent the transfer of power because Biden rightfully won the 2020 presidential election and Trump lost.

Now Kevin McCarthy's cause is to disregard the insurrection,.. disregard the treasonous conduct,..
disregard the conspiracy to overthrow American Democracy and forget about the coup d'etat. Exonerate all parties concerned and redefine the criminal vandals who ransacked the US Capitol by means of violence and force - as innocent "PATRIOTS" expressing their Constitutional Rights and freedom of speech seeking only to bring about needed changes to their government.

Scott Perry will be off the committee for sure once he gets indicted. Hopefully he'll do the right thing and resign his seat. But even if he doesn't resign there's no way he should get any committee appointments.
