This refers to the "He gets us" ads. I mean creator of the Universe and ruler of all things, and he needs TV commercials?
Also, this campaign cost $100 million, couldn't that money do a lot of good?

(22,037 posts)Consider how many interpretation of the Bible exist. Which are the inerrant words of God?
Additionally, if God is omniscient and knows the past, present and future, wouldn't it make more sense to send your Son to earth when there would be global interconnections and messaging? I mean, if the world knows all about Donald Trump, imagine what Jesus could accomplish with modern technology! To my point, why did God send his message and Son to earth when the world was primitive? It would've been far more effective if Jesus were alive today and presenting his teachings.
Yeah, I know, God works in mysterious ways. They're also confusing, contradictory and incomplete.
Of course, edhopper, to your point, the money is the message, eh?

(367 posts)I do not believe in any God that is associated with any religion. I do not know if there is any type of supreme being and I really don't care since I can't do anything about it.

We started as tiny primates in trees. Of course we have an affinity. They provide us with shade, shelter, fruits and nuts, wood, etc. We find their presence comforting and beautiful.
But what does that have to do with fables and mythologies about a magical sky wizard?
