The special prosecutor who charged Alec Baldwin is a REPUBLICAN who was just elected to state leg

“If any one of these three people — Alec Baldwin, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed or David Halls — had done their job, Halyna Hutchins would be alive today. It’s that simple,” Andrea Reeb, the special prosecutor on the case, said in a statement Thursday. “The evidence clearly shows a pattern of criminal disregard for safety on the ‘Rust’ film set.”

1. My instant reaction to this was it was political, and I am sure it is now that I see this.

Should he and his production company be sued in civil court for wrongful death, Absolutely, But this is complete bullshit.

4. Republican they might be but he did kill someone and it was negligent.

There’s nothing in that statement that was wrong. They cut corners, hired scabs and were blatantly negligent about safety.

I’m a fan of Alec Baldwin but that’s the way it is.

5. So, did this special prosecutor decide or did the DA?

From the article, it sounds like the DA decided to press charges and asked for funds to hire a special prosecutor.

He’s BIG as an actor, took the bigness farther into UPPITY Lib territory shooting off his Lib mouth and topping it with a dead-on mockery of Drumpf – (so many deadly gun figures of speech here).

The BIGNESS is the key – the weeds that stick out more get mowed down (another one!) – hubris too? His lawyer makes a convincing point, that he had “no reason to believe there was a live round.” So he was a producer, meaning boss ultimately responsible for everything, but did he convey by word or example that being lax with the precautions was the rule of thumb?

Drumpf gets another notch on his belt of vengeance, another of his enemies getting mowed down. Will he ever get even a measly five years for his Mob lifetime (not a question).

HANNITY put a target on Alec years back, speaking of which, has Drumpf torn it with HANNITY for renouncing the rigging/hoax thing?

lead the case. The desire for people to make this political is seriously weird to me -- especially because it's a gun crime.

Involuntary manslaughter is probably far better than if this happened to somebody with far less prominence and money.

I feel very bad for everybody involved -especially the victim and her family. But that doesn’t disregard the fact that a crime was committed.

Guns require enormously special care when using -even (or maybe especially) in their use on a film set. That care was clearly not taken.

He held the gun, he pointed it, and he pulled the trigger. Someone died as a result of his actions. I don't see the controversy here.
