getting elected

It is curious that Sanders hired Cornell West, Nina Turner, David Sirota, and Brihana Joy Gray for his 2016 campaign for president, and all those people encouraged others NOT to vote for Hillary in the general election in 2016

It is interesting that someone so concerned about capitalism has multiple homes. For most people, one house would be more than sufficient

3. My thought exactly. For someone who's "angry about capitalism,"

he's been outstandingly helpful to the RW kleptocracy. He, and all the others whose actions show they're far more "angry" about DEMOCRATS, knew who they were helping. For why, check with the political scientists who study them.

No one who refused to vote for Democrats prioritized the lives they kept us from bettering.

Post-2016, people still trying to survive and even feed children on a minimum wage of $7.25 are now entering YEAR SEVEN that they're not earning $15/hour, with inflation increases.

2017 $7.25
2018 $7.25
2019 $7.25
2020 $7.25
2021 $7.25
2022 $7.25

Yes, well meaning people who care SHOULD be angry!

6. Sanders brings awareness to a lot of people

and he's galvanized many young people

Unfortunately he can't (or won't) use that influence and his movement to bring about change. Apparently he's old school and still believes in the current system.

But if bringing awareness to people is as far as he can go, let him do it!

11. "Gouging: Outrage as publisher marks up publicly-funded book price by 8000%" -- Common Dreams

Isn't it outrageous that a book that costs only about 50 cents to print is being sold for $40? When you consider that Penguin Random House, one of the world's largest publishers, earned over $4 billion in revenue last year. Not only that, the author of this book is being paid by taxpayers to write this, but the public isn't going to get a cent of the sales. When people are struggling to make ends meet, for our tax dollars to be used to enrich the already wealthy and big book sellers is unconscionable.

12. The public isn't paying Sanders a penny to write this book.

There's nothing in his responsibility as a Senator or his campaign goals that calls for writing a book.

This is why I tend to discount Common Dreams' opinions.
