According to Robert Costa (CBS), Pence directed his lawyer to four boxes to search them

...on Jan. 16, attorney Matt Morgan, who lives nearby was "called over to Pence's home to look through four boxes of vice-presidential records."

watch:

How likely is it that Pence wasn't aware there were classified docs in those boxes he directed this lawyer to look through?

Pence attorney Greg Jacob wrote to Kate Dillon McClure, acting director of the Archives' White House Liaison Division on Jan. 18: "Vice President Pence was unaware of the existence of sensitive or classified documents at his personal residence."

and the media to be stupid enough to buy anything coming from a member of the GQP. So for them it's a matter of just say anything and roll on.

...is that someone other than Pence discovered them, but this puts Pence closer to his classified docs stored improperly docs than Pres. Biden to his own.

He needs to be questioned formally.

Saw Banks of Indiana make that claim in the same report I posted. Their stories are far from straightforward.

...I dunno.

I can imagine Trump sending them to his house, but Pence is such a phony. He's the worst of conservatives, what we used to call a 'fundy' because of the open bigotry behind his smug religiosity.

What's not as well known is how little of what he does resembles what he postures as doing. He's just another corporate hack motivated by avarice and obsequious fealty to his party's moneyed interests - a calculating simp in a cult of disrepute.

Pence is well inclined to orchestrating this documents found farce on his own.

Wonder who paid for it and is it actually a house? I mean it could be a trailer in the North Carolina mountains. I need to know more about this so-called home.

Pence needed some free TV time. He probably planted those documents just so he could get some attention, poor dear.

Pence has retirement assets from his time as Governor of Indiana as well as his time in Congress and as VP. Moreover, he was earning over $230,000/year during his time as VP. More to the point, he has been earning speaking fees since leaving office and signed a multi-million dollar book deal (rumored to be worth between 3 and 4 million) -- he bought his Indiana home for $1.9 million shortly after signing that book deal.

Pretty much par for the course for former top office holders.

His federal pension as VP and House Member is about $65000-70000 dollars
His state pension is about $33,000
If he started drawing his Social Security at 62 is about another $30,000.
So his total income before books ( which are most likely a payoff from conservative publishing houses) is about $130,000

WTF? Pence knew he had classified documents and knew where he had them.
