House Republicans prep for civil war over cuts to Social Security and Medicare: 'The numbers can’t work' without them

House Republicans are refusing to raise the debt ceiling without cutting federal spending -- but lawmakers can't agree on what programs should be trimmed.

Fiscal conservatives have long sought a balanced budget, but a recent analysis by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget shows that's impossible without cutting Medicare and Social Security -- which would be deeply unpopular with voters, reported Axios.

"The numbers can’t work,” said Chris Campbell, a former Treasury official and GOP Finance Committee aide.

Hey, Chris Campbell, did you think for one minute that you could tell your fascist republicans and your new leader that spineless narcissistic megalomanic from Bakersfield / Kern County California, that while your bunch wants to cut and gut Social Security and Medicare, did you even think to tell these fascist and there "followers", that the money (Social Security tax) is one backed by the treasury bonds that every single person / corporations that pays into social security from the earnings of a paycheck to buy those bonds so that the seniors that your party doesn't represent, gets there money when they retire, and did you explain it that way ....well no, and did you expand the thoughts that the same fascist in your party like Kevin the spinless who would sell his wife for power to have some gavel and a picture painted to be placed on some wall , when he retires he and many others will get a taxpayer funded retirement from the taxpayers.....did you even think to go into that area and explain this so that the "idiots" that your fascist party represents fully understand the BS that you and them are spreading....in fact did the Bakersfield California Newspaper say anything about it yesterday or today's edition.........from there editorial board instead of by readers and there opinions, which are important.....they had some BS from Stephen Moore stating that the trump tax cuts were paid for......some BS....about the Laffer Curve that has been debunked so many times, did they rebut it nope..... and just for the record Campbell when was the budget balanced.......2000 under Clinton, and then that other sociopath from Texas decided to go to war and give me and my wife 600 dollars apiece like it was some favor from that balanced budget.........and then there was Paul Ryan and the fellow libertarian fascist giving the wealthy tax cut....to the tune of 1.5 trillion in 2017 with that bill coming due now.....

I remember REAGAN agreeing to having my FICA increased to pay for my parents retirement because EXACTLY THE SAME F'ING ARGUMENTS that said the GREATEST GENERATION COULDN'T have their old-age rewards for surviving the depression and WWII.

So, lets figure out what is NEEDED to Make SS and MEDICARE sustainable. CLEARLY ENDING THESE PROGRAMS IS OFF THE FUCKING TABLE.

This f'ing fronteir ethos in world a post-industrial world more than 100 years post-agricultural domination must END. It's no longer a nation where everyone feeds themselves FIRST and sells what they could of their meager surpluses.

If we want people to solve their own finanical need we are setting the stage for massive criminal behaviors.

benefiting those who have bought their loyalty. In other words, if the U.S. and world economies are destroyed, qui bono?

As always, follow the money…
