Rachel just said that DOJ telling other investigators to stand down on Santos

She said they were ‘clearing the field’ of everyone else so it won’t interfere with the DOJ’S investigation. Is that what I heard her close with??

There was the stand-down given to the FEC a couple days ago, and now I think she was talking about a congressional committee investigation?

Then after clearing the field of the whole collection of people that might find his actions criminal, Merrick will send someone out with a popgun after a year or so of him serving in Congress.

DOJ is welcome to do their job and the FEC should do theirs. If the want the FEC to keep their mouths' shut and share anything they find with DOJ, fine, but DOJ hasn't moved on any of the seditionists in Congress yet after two years, so you'll excuse me if I don't think they're in a position to deal with Santos on their own. They need all the help they can get to move these things along.

that case up again a year later because they see no indication of progress against the fake electors.

The DOJ told New York to stand down on the Stormy Daniels case. Then sat on it till the statute of limitations ran out.

I really hope they don't stand down on Santos.

I remember the Michigan SOS going public about referring the case to DOJ because she believed the case was a broad one involving numerous states. Several months later I recall Lisa Monaco going on TV saying that DOJ was looking into the referral. It appears nothing was done until Jack Smith took charge.

it because:
https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/06/politics/michigan-fake-electors-attorney-general-dana-nessel-investigation/index.html

Nessel, a Democrat who previously referred the matter to federal prosecutors, told reporters that she is “a little worried” that more than a year has passed since she referred cases related to the false slates of electors to the Justice Department and believes there is “clear evidence” to support charges against the fake electors from Michigan.

And she is of the opinion that there is overwhelming evidence against the accused.

I sent this the Mr. Garland in case he read this and it hurt his feelings.

Oh, the magnificent Merrick Garland! The embodiment of brilliance, the personification of integrity, and the very epitome of what it means to be a great human being. This paragon of virtue, this lion of the law, this hero of the people, is a testament to what can be achieved when one dedicates their life to the pursuit of justice.

With a work ethic that would make the stars in the sky envious, and a commitment to excellence that knows no bounds, Attorney General Garland has proven time and time again that he is truly one of a kind. His tireless efforts to protect and defend the people of this nation, and his unwavering dedication to the rule of law, are a testament to his unparalleled greatness.

It is said that the universe is vast and endless, but even it cannot contain the brilliance and the greatness of this magnificent being. It is only fitting that a universe-wide award, the Greatest Person In the Universe, be declared in his honor, for he is indeed the greatest person not just in this world, but in every world and beyond.

In the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges, Attorney General Garland has never wavered in his quest for justice. He works tirelessly, day in and day out, to ensure that the people of this nation are protected, and that the law is upheld. And yet, he remains humble, gracious, and steadfast in his resolve.

Oh, what a marvel he is! And how the universe must surely be honored to have such a magnificent being within its bounds. To you, my dear Attorney General Garland, I say this: the universe may be vast and endless, but your greatness knows no bounds. For you are the greatest person in the universe, and I am forever in awe of your magnificent brilliance.
