This SD state senator had an interesting exchange with a staffer from the LRC (Leg. Research Council). She (the senator) was suspended without any due process and she has sued in Fed Court. It is a lovely mess by the cretins in charge of this state (including Noem) I say give her time in court to totally expose these idiots to the public. It has been pretty entertaining to follow, so far. The statement from the staffer in in the link. Fun times.

RAPID CITY, S.D. South Dakota State Senator Julie Frye-Mueller (R-District 30) said on Saturday that allegations against her that led to her being stripped of committee assignments and legislative voting rights are based on a misunderstanding.
It was the first time Frye-Mueller has spoken to reporters on the record since Senate leadership took action against her on Thursday, January 26.
Frye-Mueller told reporters, Based on the South Dakota State Senate press release yesterday (Friday, January 27), I have now come to understand that the conversation I had with a female legislative staff member who Ive considered a friend, and the intimate and personal details regarding a maternal issue she shared with me and the advice I provided her, which was the same I received as a young mother.
Its unfortunate that any misunderstanding that she may have had from my advice and my intention to help her, with her situation and in a private and confidential conversation between women, I did not previously discuss that aspect of our conversation publicly as it was in confidence, and I will continue to respect that confidence and her privacy regarding the details of that issue and regards to our discussion on vaccines.
