The Republican platform: Shrinking your base in order to fire up your base.

Only self destructive extremist idiots would create a base this way. Republicans are attacking Americans across the board in order to get their base angry. Gays, African Americans, teachers, seniors, young people, the list goes on and on. They are driving Americans away from their Party.

All I can say is this. Carry on fools.

and as a result creating more pre-existing condition persons and then denying them proper healthcare.

And then keeping them pretty much stupid and angry, hateful and violent, and then allow open carry guns shit.

And then make up conspiracy theories far far away from reality, while taking away basic human rights, i.e monitoring women's menstrual cycles.

WTF

The Republicans’ behavior during the COVID pandemic and their legislatures’ continuing cuts to medical aid, particularly for seniors, is—literally—killing their base.

Tens of thousands of Republican voters in Florida flatlined in Ruby Red Florida since the pandemic started. Thousands of voters died in sickness and poverty in Appalachia and the Ozarks, and, no, Virginia, they weren’t colored folks. They were white people living in red districts.

And they “won”, so those other issues will matter now.
I’m in Pennsylvania and very reassured after we killed them in this election.

but then - I was also one of those that was dumbfounded at what happened in 2016. So my finger in the wind apparently doesn't count for much.
