The people of Ukraine will win their freedom. When Grandmothers and Grandfathers arm themselves

against you. You are pretty much fucked. That means the entire population is united against you and they will never surrender.

Putin can level cities, destroy infrastructure, it won't matter. The people of Ukraine will not surrender.

Putin does not understand Freedom.

deploying the very young and very old are last ditch efforts to survive.

I get the thrust of what you're saying and it would be gratifying to have meemaw and peepaw running the Ruskies out of Ukraine, but we should probably recognize the "desperate times call for desperate measures" facet to this.
