Bye. I don't have the need to argue with you further. This is a Democratic website that fully backs efforts to push back against autocracy and fascism, including the horrific and Nazi-like tactical invasion of Ukraine.. The RW and Putin are the opposite. Ditto, Elon who clearly is increasingly enabling Putin propaganda and intentionally taking away the communications lifeline for the Ukrainians.. I find your support and defense of the latter incomprehensible.

Usually the onus and burden of proof is on the accuser, unless you American military then no evidence needed! Just trust another Niger yellowcake story, same as white balloons stories.

America has very good heavy lift capacity into space because of…who’s company? And it’s not Russian.

I could not agree more. Nor could anyone who gives a damn about the Ukrainians and does not defend Putin. Musk is enabling massacres of civilians with the purposeful shutdown of communications to civilians and the military alike.

That’s not a crime. That’s a company that who wants to stay out of the war, but support the Citizens…who mostly all never went war, ever.

Why aren’t other American private companies rushing in to help? Does that make them allies of Putin!?

An accessory to war crimes and this could be a war crime, including profiteering.

I hope folks at the ICC are watching.

And since we paid for the Starlink system, mostly, with our tax dollars, control of the system should be taken away from the ratfuck, at least temporarily. Might require an EO from Biden.

Fuck that fucking guy.

Gonna have to redefine “war crime” for that stretch to apply!

Profiteering off war?

Ever heard of America??

In an article written for Al Jazeera, Jonathan Turley, a Shapiro Professor at George Washington University, states that there is an increasing “ military industrial complex composed of military contractors and lobbyists perpetuating war. ” At the heart of this complex are three distinct groups of profiteers, corporations, lobbyists, and agencies, “ that have created a massive, self-sustaining terror-based industry.” Under the notion of a continuous terror threat, these entities persistently advocate for more war, funded by the public, and although they occupy markedly separate sections of the state, each sector relies upon the other two to consistently provide a road to profit.

Starlink Competitor Touts Pentagon Partnership, Blasts Musk

Starlink competitor calls Musk’s Ukraine actions ‘egregious’
Kymeta positioning itself as the better satcom option for DOD

Rivals of Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite communications are gaining attention from the Pentagon as Musk draws criticism for Starlink’s unavailability in contested areas like Ukraine.

Musk has threatened to cut off financial support for Starlink service in Ukraine, an essential communications tool to combat Russia’s invasion. The Defense Department, meanwhile, confirmed it’s looking for other satcoms to do business with.

One competitor to Starlink is Kymeta, a Bill Gates-funded company that has donated and sold its technology to Ukraine. Kymeta’s chief development officer Bill Marks said Musk’s threats to cut off service in Ukraine and limit availability in contested areas like Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014 in a move seen by the UN as a violation of international law, were “egregious.”

“I’m sure there’s blood on his hands for that,” he said.

Starlink did not respond to several requests for comment.
