(31,062 posts)Trump involved him in something embarrassing or criminal, thats what he always does.

(36,527 posts)He's a republican loyal lapdog. He would never buck the party.

(21,408 posts)months from now, give him immunity and he has to answer the questions.

(25,272 posts)What did he do?
If he's such a Repug lapdog and goody two-shoes - and if he did the right thing Jan 6 - What does he need immunity from?
If he really wants to be president - he should do the right thing and then use that in his campaigning.
By ducking this subpoena - he looks bad - and he's shooting himself in his foot and doesn't have a prayer of a chance to get the nomination.
I still ask - what is he hiding?

(5,201 posts)He knew their plans, and he told no-one. If you allow a seditious conspiracy to go on around you, and you do nothing...you are part of it.
He could of called Nancy Polosi that morning of the insurrection and warned of what was coming. He did nothing. She handled it.
Flies have spoken, he can't hide who he is.

(45,021 posts)He may have chickened out at the end, but Pence was involved in the conspiracy all along. And not once did he sound the alarm. Even now.

(15,224 posts)I think he may have figured out that Trump didnt trust him and was going to kill him anyway, so he decided to wise up and get serious.
There is not a bone in my body that believes Pence to be honorable in any way, shape, form or fashion. He is/was compromised and was looking out for his own ass in whatever he did.

(1,114 posts)Remember he was hand pick to be VP by Paul Manafort.
Yes, Trump was the perfect cover -able to distract. Pence could have gotten Top secret info and more secretly and given it to who knows.
What we need to worry are the smart ones like Pence and Desantis who are the smart ones that will do real damage while we are turning camera and attention to Trump. MTG and Gosar who are idiots but dangerously crazy.

Pathetic, really, to be sucking up to the very people who brought a gallows and tried to hang him on January 6.
But he really thinks he can be all things to all Republican voters, or at least appear to be. Nikki Haley is the same way. Calculating flip-floppers, both of them saying whatever they think will get them elected.

(20,733 posts)If he admits the truth, that he knew drumph was a criminal, he'll lose magat voters. But there's where his delusions kill him: Ne has no chance keeping magat voters, anyway.
The GQP are all drooling over the magat vote: The sheep that can be lead with lies and BS.

(111,110 posts)That's why he doesn't think Trump should be indicted. Because he is guilty also.
Why did he refuse to go along with sending the electors back to several states? Did he agree with everything else? Was he in on the entire conspiracy up to that point? Is that why Charles Grassley thought he would be in Pence's chair on January 6th?
Did he feel that Trump was asking him to take too much of the heat and blame if the coup failed?
Why did he refuse to get in the car when he was in the parking basement?
There are still a lot of questions about Mr Pence.
