The Supreme Court sides with a taxpayer in a case about reporting requirements for foreign bank accounts. The question was whether the failure to file a tax form disclosing multiple accounts was a single violation or multiple violations. SCOTUS says 5-4 it's a single violation.
Here's the opinion from Neil Gorsuch in Bittner v. United States: https://supremecourt.gov/opinions/22pdf/21-1195_h3ci.pdf. Jackson joins the opinion in full; Roberts, Alito, & Kavanaugh join in part. Barrett dissents, joined by Thomas, Sotomayor, & Kagan.
