Senator Bernie Sanders is going after insulin makers.

The price of Humalog, a fast-acting insulin made by Lilly, has gone up about 280% since 2006. Its competitor, Novolog, Novo Nordisk, has gone up the same amount.

Lilly's stock fell about 1.5% after he began sending the tweets.

3. I agree with you. If we actually knew what these drugs coast to make, there would be riots

in the streets! I never worked for a pharmaceutical house, but I did work 15 years for manufacturer of tablets & capsules. They are all made the same way, whether they contain vitamins or some controlled drug. I was the accountant so I know what they cost to make. That's why the drug manufacturers are all making $$ hand over fist!

I believe everybody thinks these businesses deserve to make a nice profit, but NOT an exorbitant profit! They make items that are life saving & necessary, but they've become greedy & that has to stop.
