I think it’d be a mistake to start using THEIR terms and THEIR one-liners and labeling attempts. Like with a pet, once you name it, it’s officially yours.

They want their base to be asleep...brain dead zombies who allow their leaders to tell them what to think, to say, and to do.
Woke people look at Republican leaders and challenge their statements and actions. And we know how that sets them off into a tirade of howls of indignation and condemnation.

You can always know what truth is by how vociferously Republican leaders speak out against it.
Same for right action (not to be confused with right-wing action).

Democrats need to run with catchy easy to remember themes. Too often they leave that to Republicans thinking that we are too smart for that. We think we just need to do a Al Gore style monologue of the facts and Americans will come around.

I woke up this morning.
I was asleep but then I woke and then I wasn't asleep anymore.

Show me any human being that can become alert and conscious from the sleep state without the 'woke' process.
