Fanning the Walker 1,000,000 signature rumor Chicago blogger "from a source in position to know"

I have no clue as to "dis" guys "cred".

Walker recall petitions said to have a million signatures in Wisconsin
January 16, 2012

Greg Hinz-

I hear from a source in position to know that anti-Scott Walker forces will file petitions with around a million signatures on Tuesday seeking a recall election for the Wisconsin governor.

Organized labor and other recall proponents legally need only about 500,000 valid signatures, so pulling in a million almost certainly would force the election.

Above and beyond that, a million signatures would represent about half the number of people who voted in 2010 to elect Mr. Walker -- and clearly is a sign that the incumbent's political life is on the line.

That having been said, my source, who just came back from Madison, predicts a close outcome with no one winning by more than 5% or so.

Will the Republican base turn out a 2nd time at the same rates as the original race? Given what they now know about Walker and the Republican agenda? Has this point been driven home yet?

I'm sure the Democrats will be energized, based on the petition drive...the big question is...will Republicans re-vote against their best interests?

Walker is already whining and I hope he enjoys the unemployment line. See, if had left the collective bargaining he might be able to call on his job steward to help him. Bye bye
