"SNIP.......

Key points:

* The worldwide banking system faces a crisis of confidence, according to analysts

* First Republic Bank is reportedly looking to raise cash by selling part of its equity

* Several banks are looking to "gross settle" with Credit Suisse

And the crisis has two fronts: in the United States and in Europe.

.......SNIP"

Applegrove:

How much of the 25% of inflation that was corporate price gouging is responsible for the stress put on banks? I mean if inflation was 2% less would this crisis have even happened?

about the damage caused by price gouging. Of course no financial network will even dare to breathe a whisper about the subject. It will all be "blame the Fed/Biden/Democrats/"Woke"/Yellen/Social Security etc.". I have no doubt that at some point DuhSenseless and his crowd will find a reason to blame any and all financial woes on drag.

Republicans are claiming that the banks have been too focused on diversity and equity issues rather than financial oversight.

The irony is that it's been shown that more diverse teams are more effective teams. Problems arise when management and oversight are too similar in their thinking and approaches. Diversity of experience is a strength, not a weakness.

before too long.

The GQP and their base do not believe in any concepts of higher learning and societal development. Any approach to workplace/corporate evolution is like poison to their way of thinking. Their head-in-the-sand resistance to any change is one reason we are so behind other countries in the developed world in education and social development. The Brits seem to be trying mightily to drag themselves to another Dark Ages.
