12. I first saw Bruce Springsteen back around 1980 when he played at my brother's college

And he invited me. The concert was in the gym and he put on an amazing show with numerous encores. And because of the small venue, I couldn't hear well for a couple of days...

You truly deserved this.

He and E St have been one of my favorites, and gotten to see him, and them many times. Even three times in a theater including a 50$ scalper's tix (Tix were ?$5.50, $7.50 something back then) in the fourth row!

Another time during the Human Touch and companion albums I went to hear him from outside Shea Stdm. Someone left the show not quite halfway through, and gave me their ticket!

I vaguely recall some underserving sap getting a presidential medal, but that's about it. Certainly nothing concerning the arts.

Does anyone else remember anything?
I just read in Rolling Stone that he sponsored more federal executions than anyone since 1953 without one communed sentence, so I guess there's that.
