When I click on 'Guide' on my remote - the menu comes up and on the space (furthest to the left) the station ID & channel number comes up.
Today when I clicked on the guide - in that same space in the upper right hand corner a little white triangle with a + sign appears.
I don't know what that is for or what it means. I called DirecTV customer support and I asked that question - and it was like I was talking in a foreign language to them. They didn't know what I was talking about or what I was asking.
I was put on hold a number of times. Every time the lady I was talking to came back to talk - she was telling me that she checked my equipment and all was functioning correctly.
She didn't know what I was talking about - the white triangle with a + in it.
Frustrated - I told her to call me back when she finds out what that is all about.
Has anybody here seen the same symbol in that space on their guide? And do you know why it is there? and What it is about?
Any help would be appreciated.

(23,632 posts)It means, there's extra content here. Most often, that extra content is an on-demand program listing. Sometimes, it's more than that. It can mean that there are programs that have Restart enabled, meaning you can watch from the beginning even if you tune in halfway through

(15,212 posts)...the kind that responds to you as if you're the idiot, as if you're talking gibberish, because you've asked a question that isn't covered in their two-week training program.
It is indeed very frustrating.
