ChatGPT - what are 10 signs of fascism?

If AI can figure this out I hope the American people can. It would not tell me if Trump does any of this but it did list ten signs:

Here are ten common signs that some experts and scholars associate with growing fascism:

Suppression of the free press and freedom of speech: Fascist governments often restrict or control what people can say, write, or publish, in order to maintain their power and control over the population.

Demonizing and scapegoating of marginalized groups: Fascist regimes often target and blame certain groups, such as minorities, immigrants, or dissidents, for the country's problems, and use this as a way to justify discrimination and persecution.

Militarization and glorification of war: Fascist regimes often promote aggressive military expansion and use propaganda to convince people that war is necessary and glorious.

Supremacy of the ruling party or leader: Fascist governments prioritize the interests and needs of the ruling party or leader over the needs and interests of the general population.

Disregard for human rights: Fascist regimes often violate human rights, such as the right to life, liberty, and security, in order to maintain control and suppress dissent.

Centralization of power: Fascist governments tend to concentrate power in the hands of a small group or an individual, leading to a lack of checks and balances and a risk of abuse of power.

Emphasis on nationalism and authoritarianism: Fascist regimes often promote extreme nationalism and strict authoritarianism, leading to a lack of diversity and individual freedoms.

Use of violence and intimidation: Fascist regimes often use violence and intimidation tactics, such as police brutality, to maintain control and suppress dissent.

Cult of personality: Fascist leaders often cultivate a cult of personality around themselves, portraying themselves as strong and infallible leaders who are above criticism or questioning.

Suppression of independent institutions: Fascist regimes often suppress independent institutions such as courts, universities, and religious organizations in order to maintain control over the population.
