From the mouths of babes...

Ok she's not really a baby, but earlier today I was sitting in the living room watching a news program and my 14 year old daughter came downstairs, poured a bowl of cereal and saw what I was watching. Then she said. " That trump is a dirty bastard." I am sure she's heard me say that a time or two or 7000, so I couldn't really scold her for cursing. But this child really dislikes tfg. She's Asian, in case I didn't mention that and she always says he's a racist bleep. And, when she was younger she was in a summer camp which did a trip to Chicago for an end of summer reward. The kids booed when they went past trump tower.
I suppose I should set a better example and stop cussing when tfg is on TV, but it isn't easy. But for her sake, I'll try.

nineteen years old, and I'm as proud as I can be.

I'm Navy, and he and his Dad say the Marines do all the work, and we're just the bus drivers. I tell them we have bigger guns.

I think that is what it was called in 1943-44. My mom n dad were stationed at the same base when they met. Quite a love story n I’m proud of both of them..they’d flip out if they were alive today n see what is happening to the country they served.

starting when my daughter was 12.

she really didn't care, she understood my anger & passion when it came to hating him and ... it was okay. she didn't go around quoting me to teachers and friends

i don't know you or your daughter, but i don't think you need to pretend around a 14 yr old. sounds like she already knows where you stand... and it sounds like she's right there by your side in agreement

At the age of 14, she hears and uses worse with her friends every day. She's struggling around you, trying to keep a lid on it to protect your poor, virgin ears.

a great kid. she picked up the f word at about 5.
her parents told her- hey, that word doesnt bother me, so i dont care if you use it w us. but if you use it at day care, or somewhere else where ppl dont use it, you’re on your own.
