in rural TN. No fireworks so far. There were actual fireworks when Trump lost the election to Biden. It was a surprise to me. So many stupid crazy right wingers here.

But we Democrats are still a large group here though not the majority.

i video chatted my son and yelled at him. I was in tears. yes I will do my best to remember this day, as it went a long way toward restoring my belief that we are a nation of laws and not men.

3. Reminds me of when I learned the election had been decided for Biden

I was working (from home, as many of us were/are), when I heard a loud cheer erupt up and down the street.

I jumped in my car and drove all around my small town, blasting the horn all the way (in honor of Biden's car rallies prior to the election).

14. I'm a little more subtle. I live in a senior mobile home park.

I'm not sure how many trumpers live nearby, but at least one that I know of two doors down. He had a small sign in his window. Friendly people, never talked politics with them.

We sit in front of our homes and talk to people as they pass by walking their dogs. It was quiet that night, and my wife and I sat out front drinking champaign. When we went back inside we left the bottle and glasses sitting on a little table where anyone passing by in the morning would see them. No one ever said a word about it.
