This fucker is supposed to know the law front to back. He "didn't know" that you can't accept millions in gifts and travel from a "GOP Mega Donor," even if he is your "dear friend?"
Sounds sincere to me!

But they are how democracies operate. They are the wall upon which our justices are SUPPOSED to be standing guard.
Fascism/authoritarianism and corruption go hand in hand.
Shithole Clarence is a fascist, so he (and Shithole Ginny) are corrupt to the core.
They know there is no chance of corrective action coming to them, so they wallow like the pigs they are.

(8,680 posts)But, I'd be willing to elevate Harlen Crow to "dear friend" status if he gave me the same considerations he gave Clarence and Ginni Thomas.
Very dear indeed.
Alas, I'm not a SC justice and no one I know wants to buy my friendship with lavish gifts...no strings attached, of course...wink, wink, nod, nod

(25,126 posts)You can't expect Supreme Court Justices to know the law.
That would be ludicrous.
Next people will expect them to know the facts of the cases in front of them.
