Jack Teixeira: suspect in Pentagon leaks appears in court.

Jack Teixeira has appeared in federal court in Boston.

The 21-year-old suspect has been charged with unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents and materials, according to the US magistrate judge, Reuters reports.

Discord said that it is cooperating with law enforcement officials following the arrest of 21-year-old Jack Teixeira, who is believed to have been a leader in the Discord group chat Thug Shaker Central.

“We are aware that law enforcement officials have arrested the individual accused of illegally posting classified material on our platform. We have cooperated with officials and remain committed to doing so as this investigation continues.

He is in court today, after having been arrested yesterday, following discovery of his security breach activities a couple of weeks ago.

And, so how come is it that Dumpy has had years to wander around loose?

With the exact same wording about heads rolling.
Heads should roll for sure.
And they will.

This 21 year old couldn’t have come off as a mature enough person to be given the responsibility. Someone else f’d up here.

He could get 10 years for one charge and 5 for the other.

Waiting to see if that is verified.

BOSTON — Jack Teixeira, the 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guardsman arrested in connection with the leak of classified documents, feared federal authorities were on to him days before his apprehension, court documents showed Friday.

Judge David Hennessy told Teixeira, in his first court appearance here Friday, that he was being charged with possessing classified documents pertaining to national security and possessing national defense materials.

The charges carry a maximum of 10 years behind bars.

Teixeria, on April 6, "used his government computer to search classified intelligence reporting for the word ‘leak,’" according to an FBI affidavit supporting his arrest.
