5. The govt spends 5 times Solendra in the middle east EVERY DAY...

Solyndra Cost the govt 500 mil in loan guarantees due to Solyndra management, and that Standard solar panel prices have dropped by two thirds in the last few years. Their business model was a no-go with panel prices this low. (220 watt panels have dropped from $1500 each to less than $500 each.)

We spend 2.5 billion dollars in the Middle East every day. Day in and day out. Makes taking a chance on companies like Solyndra look like a bargain, even if a few do go toes up.

Wonder how many direct subsidies the Koch industries boys get through all of their divisions.
