Jerry Springer has passed away.

I never watch his shows, but I remember hearing about the crazy things that went on his show.

I didn't watch his show, but I know he was a good man. May he rest in peace.

His and other talk shows were sensationalism. They gave voices to people who didn't deserve to be heard. Hate groups of all sorts made their way onto these shows. And otherwise ignorant people earned their 15 minutes of fame by airing their dirty laundry.

And now we have the internet where people don't need a sleazy day time talk show to do all of this...
